Axxess Shipping New Plug-N-Play DSP Solutions for Chrysler, Ford, GM, Hyundai/Kia, Harley-Davidson
Holly Hill, FL – Axxess® by Metra Electronics® is now shipping new AXDSP-X packages designed for Chrysler, Ford, GM, Hyundai/Kia and a new water-resistant solution for Harley-Davidson®. These DSP kits include Axxess’s 10-channel digital signal processor and a vehicle-specific wiring harness for convenient plug-n-play installation.
The patented AXDSP-X features 6 inputs, 10 individually assignable outputs with a 31-band graphic EQ on each channel and high, low, and bandpass filters. Also included in these packages is a bass knob for level control of the subwoofer amplifier and if needed, a data interface for seamless integration with the OEM vehicle technology. Saddle Tramp® DSP Package for Harley-Davidson®:
A new water-resistant package, the AXDSPX-HD1, is now available for select 1998-2013 Harley-Davidson motorcycles, with or without an amplified sound system. The amplifier, if equipped, does not need to be retained. This package has a water-resistant case for the AXDSP-X with zip tie mounts and includes a vehicle-specific T-harness with a rubber boot that snaps into the housing, designed for outdoor use. All wiring for this product will be done at the radio location and it is Micro “B” USB updatable. This Axxess package is in stock and available now under Metra’s Saddle Tramp motorcycle accessories product line.
Axxess has recently updated all of their part numbers; the AX-DSP-X is now the AXDSP-X, with kits and harnesses following these same part number updates.
