Metra announces the acquisition of exclusive rights to Freeway Electronics distribution
JANUARY 2011: HOLLY HILL, FL – As of January 2011, Metra Electronics will be the exclusive distributor for Huizhou Freeway Electronics (HFEC) Freeway brand products in North America and Europe.
HFEC began as a hi-tech software/hardware enterprise, developing CD/MP3 players. Evolving into the design of in-car multimedia systems, HFEC now provides product series including GPS navigation and DVD with latest technology compatibility.
Launched in North America in 2007, HFEC had multiple distribution channels from specialty shops to major retailers. With today’s ever changing technology, HFEC’s aftermarket products division focuses on in-car multimedia products therefore giving consumers the ability to utilize their DVD, Bluetooth®, iPod® and navigation.
