Metra delivers big sound for the all-new 2010 Kia Forte compact (video link inside)
Holly Hill, Fla. – Kia has replaced its Spectra with an all-new model for 2010, the Kia Forte and the two-door Forte Koup – featuring a sleek look designed to challenge the established compact-car competition.
But big sound can come in small packages, thanks to Metra Electronics. Metra’s new car audio dash kits, 99-7338B (black), 99-7338HG (high-gloss black) and 99-7338S (silver) are painted to match the Forte’s factory finish, colors and textures.

The kits accommodate both ISO DIN head units with pocket and DDIN head units, engineered to ensure a smooth, seamless finish. The ISO DIN units feature Metra’s patented snap-in, quick-release mounting brackets, while the DDIN units utilize a sturdy side-rail support.
Included in the kits are the radio housing and pocket, ISO brackets, ISO trim-plate, DDIN brackets, DDIN trim plate and a hazard switch bracket. The kits also include Metra’s easy-to-follow illustrated instructions and all the necessary brackets, clips and hardware for a glitch-free install.
Complete the wiring and antenna connections with the 2009 Kia/Hyundai Harness 70-7303 and the Kia Antenna Adapter (2007 and up) 40-KI11, both sold separately.
