METRA ELECTRONICS’ KIA SPORTAGE STEREO DASH KITS Satisfies DIN and DDIN for Kia Sportage, Models 2011 and Newer
JULY 2011: HOLLY HILL, FL – Metra Electronics is pleased to announce their stereo dash kit for the 2011 (and newer) Kia Sportage. Whether your model requires a DIN or a DDIN, grey or charcoal, Metra has the right solution for your Sportage.
Part number 99-7344 is for the Kia Sportage that requires DIN installation. Available in charcoal (part number 99-7344CH) or grey (part number 99-7344G), this single DIN installation kit is painted to match factory color. The oversized pocket compliments the DIN radio installation. Provisions are also included to accommodate the factory passenger airbag status at the top, as well as the hazard button at the bottom.

Part number 95-7344 is for the Kia Sportage that requires DDIN installation. Available in charcoal (part number 95-7344CH) or grey (part number 95-7344G), this kit is painted to match factory color. The included brackets support the DDIN radio, and the radio panel snaps over the trim. Similar to the DIN stereo kit, provisions to retain factory passenger airbag status and the hazard button are included.
To complete these installations, use part number 70-7304, the Hyundia/Kia harness, for years 2010 and newer. This harness allows installation of aftermarket stereos using the factory wiring and connector. Cutting the factory wires is not necessary. Part number 70-7304 provides power and four speakers. It also plugs into the car harness. (70-7304 Sold separately). An antenna adapter is not necessary.
