DECEMBER 2011: HOLLY HILL, FL – Metra Electronics, known for 65 years as the leader in innovative after-market automobile accessories, is reintroducing the award winning Ballistic line up of sound dampening products. Now with three distinct series of products, dealers are sure to find the level of performance they need at the price point their customers can afford. Ballistic provides dampening solutions to dramatically improve sound quality and drastically reduce road noise in the Performance Grade Ballistic Hollow Point Series, Competition Grade Ballistic Series and the Reference Grade Ballistic Magnum Series.
 

Ballistic Magnum- Ballistics’ top-of-the-line Magnum Series utilizes a revolutionary new butyl rubber composite called Carbon^X. A PVC carbon fiber finish is applied to the reinforced aluminum constraining layer. The result is Ballistic Magnum delivers the best noise suppression available.

 

Ballistic- Ballistic still delivers the industry leading performance that Ballistic has become famous for and now is available in the new jet-black finish. Ballistic is up to 30% thicker than the other guy’s stuff and still remains the only brand to utilize the proven Perma-Stick^TM adhesive.

 

In addition to Ballistics’ new finish, 2012 brings three custom barrier products to the Ballistic line up with the Ballistic Hood Armor and Ballistic Suppressor SKUs. Ballistic Hood Armor is engineered for use in the engine compartment and Ballistic Suppressor serves as a carpet pad or an excellent insulator between interior panels and hard surfaces.

 

Ballistic Hollow Point- Ballistics’ Hollow Point is the perfect synergy of weight, performance and cost. Ballistic Hollow Point still delivers more mass per ft² and is thicker then competitors in the category. Yet Ballistic Hollow Point is thinner and lighter weight then the Competition Grade Ballistic.
