Single and double din aftermarket radio installation kits now available for the RAM brand series of trucks in 2013. Designed for the models without the large factory 8.4 inch touchscreen, both the 99-6518B (Single Din) and the 95-6518B (Double Din) are painted a scratch resistant matte black to match the factory color and finish. Upgrading the basic AM/FM CD player is a cinch using Metra’s installation kits along with Metra’s 40-EU55 amplified antenna adapter. Integration is not difficult if you’re using the new XSVI-6523-NAV interface from Axxess. This new interface connects with the vehicle’s data bus and provides all connections necessary for the aftermarket radio. The interface wiring also plugs directly into the AXXESS ASWC-1 to keep the factory steering wheel controls working with the aftermarket radio.
